What changed July 1
House Bill 2844 replaced the old patchwork of city-by-city permits with one state license from DSHS. Getting licensed makes you legal. It doesn't tell a festival organizer you're the real thing. That's the gap TXFVA fills.
Trucks, trailers, and carts now hold a single Texas food vending vehicle license instead of a permit in every county. Applications opened just before the July 1 deadline.
